Description
Subcontractor for a new roadway consisting of embankment, lime treated subgrade, asphaltic concrete pavement, culverts, irrigation structures, and levee relocation. This project supported regional mobility improvements and drainage control.
Services
Structures: Structural work focused on building foundational and vertical elements of the project. This included reinforcing steel placement, forming, and pouring concrete for walls, bridges, or culverts, as well as erecting other necessary load-bearing structures essential for project stability and functionality.
Earth Moving and Grading: This phase involved preparing the site by clearing, excavating, and balancing soil to achieve the required elevations and slopes. Heavy machinery such as bulldozers, graders, and excavators were used to ensure proper drainage, stability, and readiness for subsequent phases of construction.
Asphalt Paving: Asphalt paving was performed for roadway surfacing. Crews placed and compacted asphalt layers to provide a smooth, durable, and weather-resistant finish. This ensured proper traffic flow, safety, and long-term performance of the pavement.
Concrete Paving: Concrete paving was applied in designated roadway sections, intersections, or structural slabs where greater load-bearing capacity or longevity was required. This process involved placing, finishing, and curing concrete to meet strength and durability specifications.
Trucking: Trucking services were critical throughout the project for transporting soil, aggregate, asphalt, concrete, and construction equipment. Trucks facilitated the timely delivery of materials to the site and removal of excess or unsuitable material, keeping operations efficient.
Utilities: Utility crews were responsible for installing and coordinating underground and above-ground services such as water lines, storm drains, sanitary sewers, gas lines, and communication conduits. This ensured the project was properly serviced and compliant with local infrastructure requirements.
