Then IOC Company has an opportunity for you. We specialize in heavy civil construction building South Texas. Position Summary: Provide maintenance support to company fleet by diagnosing, adjusting, repairing and maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment and systems, such as asphalt pavers, loaders, graders, excavators, skid steers, water trucks, haul trucks, and other equipment used in road construction and fleet transportation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the continued and safe operation of all mechanical, gasoline and diesel-powered equipment.
  • Operate and inspect machines to diagnose defects, faults, and malfunctions using engine diagnostic equipment, computerized test equipment, and calibrated devices.
  • Examine parts for damage, excessive wear, and malfunctions using micrometers, gauges, volt meters, and calibrated devices.
  • Dismantle, repair, replace, and reassemble damaged and worn parts using hoists, hand tools, jacks, and physical strength.
  • Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications.
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine and preventative maintenance on equipment, vehicles, tools, and assets.
  • Schedule maintenance and preventative maintenance for machines and equipment while keeping methodical service records and minute documentation.
Job Requirements
  • Attention to Detail: Being able to pay attention to details of heavy equipment repair is necessary.
  • Analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills in addition to root cause analysis understanding.
  • Ability to stand, stoop, crouch, crawl, and lift 50 to 75 lbs.
  • Read, understand, and utilize operating & service manuals.
  • Participate in meetings, maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
  • Perform audits involving housekeeping, quality, and safety.
  • Driver's License: Class C but CDL Class A or B is preferred.
  • Must be willing to work (self-relocate) in the Edinburg South Texas area.
Education High School diploma or equivalent. Diesel Certificate – Preferred.
