HR. Assistant/Receptionist

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a full-time front desk receptionist/HR Support with excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task. Most of your work will be on the computer, answering phones, greeting people who visit our front lobby and as part of the HR Team conduct new hire onboarding and assisting with the recruiting process. Excellent phone etiquette, computer experience with good typing skills, attention to details and the ability to present company policy to new hires is required. Also offers administrative/clerical support across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITES:

Welcomes visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries.

Notifies company personnel of visitor arrival.

Informs visitors by answering or referring inquiries.

Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges, issuing safety Personal Protective Equipment, etc.

Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Updates Calendars, Schedules meetings.

Arranges hotel and flight accommodations.

Enrolls employees in off-site training.

Receives and distributes incoming correspondence/deliveries.

Inventory/Ordering of all Personal Protective Equipment, office supplies, and other items.

Conducts New Hire Onboarding to include new hire paperwork, I-9, drug testing, company policy review, etc.

Assists in recruiting process, posting jobs, assisting walk-ins on application process, monitor online applicant system, schedule applicants for interview, etc.

Will learn payroll process and serve as a backup when needed.

POSITION EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:

High School/GED required.

Computer skills required with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point)

Good written and verbal communication skills required.

Great attention to details.

Bilingual – English/Spanish (this is a must)

JOB KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of three years Receptionist with Recruiting and New Employee Onboarding

Construction company background helpful.
